A prepared environment with Montessori Apparatus specially designed by Dr.
Maria Montessori to encourage the children to learn.
Sensorial - To develop the child's visual perception of colour and
dimension. These activities provide experiences in comparison, grading,
seriation, naming the colours and matching. They also help to refine the
child's auditory sense and memory.
Mathematics - To intoduce the child to fix quantity and counting. This also
brings awareness to the sequence of numbers, concept of zero and the
quantitative relationship between numbers. Binomial cube and Trinomial cube
provide the child with tangible experience of the way in which the cube can
be devided and sub-devided. They also lay the foundations for the later
study of algebra.
Language - To get familiar with the letters and their sound for exercises in
composing words.
