I take pride in being a Professional Child Care Provider and am honoured with each family that chooses me as their care giver for the child(ren). I take my chosen career very seriously and attend many trainings, classes, meetings, and workshops pertaining to child care. I am always eager to learn more and there is always more to learn when it comes to OUR children. I officially opened as Sherry's Fingers & Toes in May 2006. I enjoy watching children learn and discover new things with each passing day.
My Childcare Philosophy
Children are wonderful beings who need a safe and positive environment to grow and thrive.
As a childcare provider, my goal is to provide a happy
place where children can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially
at their own pace.
I give the children in my care opportunities to learn
in a family-like setting with a mixed aged group,
where they can feel safe, loved, and can
begin to build a positive self image.
Your child will receive quality personal and
individualized care in a warm and loving home.
Your child will be given opportunities that will
encourage curiosity, initiative, independence,
decision making capabilities,
physical activity that promotes gross moto skills, communication skills, fine motor development,
interaction with and respect for others.

Tiny Handprints
Tiny handprints grow so fast
Their awkward groping soon will clasp
A ball, a book, a sweetheart's hand
A diploma, breifcase, wedding band.
Tiny handprints grow so strong
It doesn't take them very long
To snap a shirt, to paint, to draw
To labor hard, to drive a car.
Tiny handprints grow to be
A person that is quite unique
A wonderful mix of so many things
With his own feelings, thoughts and dreams...
